Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya is based on a young man in the early 1900s who travels to Canada to work in a lumber mill with many other Punjabis to support his family. The men encounter challenging working circumstances and an increasing threat, while locals start to worry about the effects of a rising trend in international immigration.
