Gurveer Singh, an Indian national who just arrived in Australia last month, has been given bail.The 23-year-old was charged with negligent driving resulting in death after a man was killed in a collision in Sydney’s Lidcombe between the guy’s motorcycle and the ute being driven by Mr. Singh.
Emergency services were summoned to Olympic Drive near Childs Street in Lidcombe at around 7 p.m. on August 15, 2022, according to NSW police, following reports of a motorcycle and car collision. Police and firefighters gave the rider CPR until paramedics from NSW Ambulance arrived.
Despite their continued efforts, the rider could not be revived and passed away on the spot. The deceased is considered 49 years old despite not being formally identified.
A crime scene was created by Auburn Police Area Command officers and reviewed by forensic police experts.
An investigation into the possibilities surrounding the crash commenced.For required tests, Mr. Singh was transferred to Auburn Hospital. He was subsequently brought to the Auburn Police Station, where he was accused of causing death via careless driving. According to The Daily Telegraph, Magistrate Richard Funston granted Mr. Singh bail on August 16 and placed various restrictions on him.
Conditions Imposed
Gurveer Singh must turn in his passport to the police within 24 hours, refrain from leaving Australia, and drive only with an Australian or international licence.

Mr. Singh lives in Sydney’s Homebush West and is enrolled in Queensland University’s master of office administration programme.
