Grandma from Melbourne, who was told by her husband to “don’t bother” purchasing a ticket, ended up winning $20 million in the Powerball.<\/p>\n

The woman, from Truganina in the city’s west, held the only division one winning entry in the country in Thursday’s draw and checked her ticket right before bedtime.<\/p>\n

Grandma’s Insane Luck<\/strong><\/p>\n

She claimed she could sleep for only 40 minutes the entire night after learning that she was now a multi-millionaire.<\/p>\n

The winner told The Lott on Friday morning, “I was sitting in the living room, and I checked the winning numbers before going to bed, and I didn’t believe it.<\/p>\n

“I was unable to leave the chair. I failed to use the restroom. I was unable to move. It was unbelievable. ”<\/p>\n

Draw 1369’s winning numbers were 30, 23, 9, 22, 5, 28, and 18. 3 was the winning Powerball number.<\/p>\n

The grandma said her husband advised her not to buy a ticket at Wyndham Village Lotto & News in Tarneit since they had little chance of winning.<\/p>\n

She said, “I guess I’ve proved him wrong.”<\/p>\n

When Grandma realized she had the winning numbers, she experienced the pleasure of her life.<\/p>\n

“I decided to shake things up and get a Power hit made up of special numbers that mean the most to me, rather than playing my regular three to four games.” she said.<\/p>\n

A grandma from Melbourne won $20 million in the Powerball after her husband advised her to “don’t bother” purchasing a ticket.<\/p>\n

“I never anticipated winning anything big. I rarely get more than three digits to land.<\/p>\n

When Grandma won, she couldn’t believe her good fortune.<\/p>\n

What Will She Do Now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The woman already has travel arrangements to travel to Australia and wants to use her millions to provide for her family.<\/p>\n

She said she intended to use some of the prize money to take trains around Australia.<\/p>\n

She also wants to assist her children and grandchildren in purchasing homes.<\/p>\n

The store owner where the ticket was bought claimed that he had not slept since learning of the victory.<\/p>\n

Mahesh Thakur exclaimed, “It’s truly a momentous day for us, and we’re absolutely over the moon.”<\/p>\n

We have sold division one winning tickets for all other lottery games except for Powerball. Finally, after a long wait, we have all division one victories.<\/p>\n
