Men’s cricket will see more frequent matches between Australia, India, and England now that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has approved the programme for upcoming tours.

On Wednesday, the men’s world calendar was revealed from April 2023 to March 2027, and Australia made it clear that it wanted to play more games with India and England.
During most of the summer months, one of the two countries will tour Australia in at least one format, with the Test series against India lasting up to five matches.
The 2026–27 season will see the end of Australia’s continued fifty-year dominance in summer home men’s cricket, with a test tour of India in January–February.
In accordance with the ICC World Testing Championship draw, Australia will host the West Indies for two consecutive summer test seasons in 2022–23 and 2023–24.

The Winter Test will also make a comeback in August 2026 against Afghanistan. January will now be stripped of Australian men’s white ball internationals to benefit the Big Bash league.
