From 24 October 2022, Dr Jean-Claude Huynh, Dr Julian Lai and Dr Khushboo Paul will be moving to a mixed billing model of care. For a standard consultation with these doctors, the out-of-pocket charge will be approx. $35.. The doctors will continue to bulk-bill children 15 years, and under, Pension/Healtcare/DVA cardholders, and vaccinations. Medicare rebates can be processed and returned to you on the spot if you have an account with Medicare. The doctors would like to emphasise that this decision has not been taken lightly. Unfortunately, Medicare payments have fallen greatly behind inflation and do not allow the doctors to adequately cover increasing osts of providing medical services such as professional development & training, insurance, annual/sick leave, and more. Our doctors understand the importance in providing comprehensive continuity of care for all their patients and their families.
