I Am sure you will agree how hectic living here can get, especially so for people like me, with little bundles of energies to take care of. So, to make things easier, I started making Ready food mixes and storing them up. This helped us a lot on our camping trips as well as when travelling around. I gifted these in jars as Christmas gifts and ooo la laaa ! everyone suggested I take it a little further and make these available to others.
So, here comes Dash foods. I call it Dash foods, as the aim is to cook in a DASH. These are dry ready food mixes with are hygienically prepared, sealed and packed in foil pouches with detailed cooking instructions. “Add water and cook” is all there is to be done. These will be particularly useful for the Family / student on the go. There are a few varieties available initially.
Pongal in a dash – Just add water and cook
Poha in a dash – Just add water and Microwave for 2 mins.
Dry Poha snack
Upma in a dash – Just add water and cook
Dal in a dash – Just add water and cook
