Sanjay completed his Medical Degree at the University of Western Australia before undergoing a surgical training program in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Royal Perth Hospital, eastern parts of Australia and New Zealand. Following this, Sanjay completed post-fellowship training focusing on advanced techniques of minimally invasive valve surgery, transplantation and blood conservation principles, lung cancer surgery and chest wall reconstruction, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston Massachusetts.
