      Exceptional Sales Leader was created out of frustration at seeing such a large number of sales leaders literally thrown to the wolves when they first take on the sales leadership role. With the vast majority of sales leaders having built a successful career as an individual contributor salesperson, often the company rewards that success with a promotion to sales leader, believing that the success as a salesperson will instantly translate into success as a sales leader. This rarely happens and is more of a ‘hope & pray’ strategy, however, the expectation is that results are to be delivered immediately.
