The Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) regulates tax practitioners to protect and assure consumers that tax practitioners meet appropriate standards of professional and ethical conduct. You must do POI checks before providing tax agent or BAS services to new clients and on an ongoing basis to existing clients, as appropriate.
