Our firm was established by Tina Veivers who is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist with 20 years of experience in managing compensation claims. The firm was set up to transform the experience plaintiffs have going through the compensation claim process and litigation process in the following ways:
1. We have observed over a number of years that compensation law firms have tended to treat clients as a number and a means of generating fees, with a lack of personalised service provided. South East Lawyers was set up to change the status quo.
2. We are strong believers that your settlement payout will need to sustain you for a life time of pain and disability, and we are always mindful of this when charging fees at the conclusion of a claim.
3. We understand that the litigation process can be harrowing and that plaintiffs going through this process are often stressed, upset and confused. Tina and her team are renowned for providing the compassionate support and direction that is needed during these stressful times.
4. We have observed that many compensation law firms under settle claims in that they are more interested in getting their fees than a maximum result for the client. We do everything in our power to get clients the best result they can from their claim in the shortest time frame and we will never under settle a claim!
5. Some of our staff have actually worked for defendant insurance firms and so know the tricks of the trade and how to negotiate successfully against such firms.
