The prize honours quality, leadership, innovation, and accomplishment in the insurance industry. The founder and managing director of IIFS, Sumit Sopori, expressed his excitement at collecting this renowned and legendary industry award to The Australia Today.

He said, “My team and I feel really pleased to receive the national award as it’s quite a honourable award and well recognised in the insurance industry. It is a reflection of our hard work and effort being recognised on a national level. It will only strengthen our motivation to serve the community even better.”

Sumit has more than 13 years of experience working with large insurers and brokerage behemoths. Sumit arrived in Australia as an international student in 2005 to pursue a degree in business management at Edith Cowan University. He claims that he is constantly working to increase insurance awareness across various populations and is always willing to mentor recent grads.
