A well-known Punjabi singer  & Congress leader, Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot dead on May 29 in Punjab’s Mansa district. The incident took place the day after the state police removed his security.

Even though Punjabi singer-actor Sidhu Moose Wala passed away precisely two months ago, his fans remember him fondly. Many things have been done in his memory, and many more continue to be done in his honour. For instance, recently the well-known rapper Drake donned a Sidhu Moose Wala t-shirt at his most recent performance.

Sidhu’s image and the words “1993-2022” are printed on the t-shirt. It’s touching how this prominent worldwide performer honoured the late singer.

Drake and Moose Wala’s supporters were incredibly grateful for this gesture.

On the debut episode of SiriusXM radio programme, “Table for One,” Canadian rapper Drake also paid respect to the late Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala by playing some of the singer’s well-known songs.

The rapper had previously written “RIP Moose” in a message commemorating the late Punjabi musician on his Instagram Story.

HipHopNMore reports that the “Hotline Bling” rapper included the songs “295” and “G-Sh*t” by Moose Wala on the episode. These songs recently reached the Billboard Global 200 charts and were in the top three on YouTube’s Global Music Video chart. The Last Ride, another song by Moose Wala, moved up the chart and is now found at position six. On YouTube, the Last Ride video has received over 73 million views.

Even Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, recently got tattoos in his honour. Sidhu’s image was tattooed on Balkaur Singh’s arm, while “Shubh Sarwan Putt” was etched on Charan Kaur. Hearts are melting at the image of Balkaur Singh grinning while getting the tattoo.
