Grandma from Melbourne, who was told by her husband to “don’t bother” purchasing a ticket, ended up winning $20 million in the Powerball.
The woman, from Truganina in the city’s west, held the only division one winning entry in the country in Thursday’s draw and checked her ticket right before bedtime.
Grandma’s Insane Luck
She claimed she could sleep for only 40 minutes the entire night after learning that she was now a multi-millionaire.
The winner told The Lott on Friday morning, “I was sitting in the living room, and I checked the winning numbers before going to bed, and I didn’t believe it.
“I was unable to leave the chair. I failed to use the restroom. I was unable to move. It was unbelievable. ”
Draw 1369’s winning numbers were 30, 23, 9, 22, 5, 28, and 18. 3 was the winning Powerball number.
The grandma said her husband advised her not to buy a ticket at Wyndham Village Lotto & News in Tarneit since they had little chance of winning.
She said, “I guess I’ve proved him wrong.”
When Grandma realized she had the winning numbers, she experienced the pleasure of her life.
“I decided to shake things up and get a Power hit made up of special numbers that mean the most to me, rather than playing my regular three to four games.” she said.

“I never anticipated winning anything big. I rarely get more than three digits to land.
When Grandma won, she couldn’t believe her good fortune.
What Will She Do Now?
The woman already has travel arrangements to travel to Australia and wants to use her millions to provide for her family.
She said she intended to use some of the prize money to take trains around Australia.
She also wants to assist her children and grandchildren in purchasing homes.

The store owner where the ticket was bought claimed that he had not slept since learning of the victory.
Mahesh Thakur exclaimed, “It’s truly a momentous day for us, and we’re absolutely over the moon.”
We have sold division one winning tickets for all other lottery games except for Powerball. Finally, after a long wait, we have all division one victories.
The Lotto division one winning total for this year has already reached 272.
